Natural History Exhibits

Walk into any natural history museum and there is a story being told; the story of life, how the environment shapes life, and, how life, in turn, changes the environment.

I have been fortunate enough to work in natural history museums throughout much of my career. Many of these projects taught me to think in terms of geological time, to perceive how landscapes are formed in relation to evolving ecosystems and large-scale transformations in our planetary past. Such thinking has led me to consider the import of visual learning and aesthetics in affecting our experience of the world.
