Frames of Reference/Rustbelt Romanticism

These two series are joined by common lines of inquiry: how to tell a compelling story and what is a story worth telling?
Frames of Reference considers the narrative quality of imagery and the stories that unfold when disparate images are juxtaposed. My intent was to capture a moment evocative of time and the normally hidden world of memory.
In Rustbelt Romanticism, the landscape dominates the narrative and often functions as an extension of the characters inner world. This series investigates the aesthetics of decay and the transitory nature of all things.
